Hospice Experiences

"So many nice cards from so many of you with so many kind words about our loved one is truly humbling. I consider each and every one of you to be one of God's angel's and I pray that his blessings be upon you. It is a daunting task you've taken on and each one has risen to the call. Many, many thanks for walking with us through this "dark valley" and for helping us come out "on the other side" knowing that we have done our very best. We brought in the very best to help walk him thorough his journey. You gave him care, compassion, "courage", silliness, and understanding, but most of all LOVE. You have our undying gratitude for helping us help him "go home."

"What a wonderful service you provide. I'm so glad I got a chance to really feel what you do. A special thanks to all of you who provided warmth and comfort to a very, very sad occasion."

"Thank you for being here with us! There are no words to express the strength we felt through your love, visits and support. The safety and comforting wisdom you shared with my family and myself was priceless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"A note of thanks can never re-pay you for all you have done for my parents. I have never had anything but praise for your kindness. You made Dad's last days so much more comfortable and are such great support for Mom."

"Thank you so much for your support during this very difficult time. Your knowledge and experience helped us to let go of our father and help him leave this life in peace and comfort. It takes very special people to do what you do and we are very fortunate that we could rely on you all!"

"To those that took my frantic phone calls, thank you. To my first nurse who met me at Walgreen's at 10:30 at night, thank you. To all who came to our home, thank you. Your care for Mom was wonderful. To those of you who were behind the scene helping, thank you."

"You will always be in our hearts for how you supported our wonderful brother, brother-in-law and son. Helping him manage his pain was critical, as he did not always understand. It was such a thoughtful act when a volunteer at 11:00 pm came out to assist. The nurses' contacts with us were very assuring and informational. We are greatly feeling the love and yet the loss. He was such a joy each day."
